November 2008 Update

Here I am writing my last report... on my last month here. I have to say I feel quite sad about leaving this amazing country.
As you can imagine, within this month I have done nothing but to enjoy as much as I can and visit beautiful places. My friends have already planned a lot of activities to spend time together and have fun...

I just wanted to thank Peace Scholarship Program for this espectacular opportunity which has helped me a lot in many ways. Through this experience I have grown up and become independent as well as confident.

I am leaving to Chile on december 6th. very early in the morning. I feel sad, leaving my friends behind since they were my family in these five months I spent here. However, I value the relationships I have built up here and I am sure I will never forget any of them.

Once again, thanks for the chance of becoming a better person for this world and society.

Cheers,
Nadia.

October 2008 Update

I am very sorry for not sending the monthly report before but I was very busy with uni stuff and I completely forgot it.

Anyways, I hope I am not too late.
As I told you in the previous monthly report, me and my friends were planning on going to Great Ocean Road, we went during the semester break and had an awesome time.

We rent a cool ride and stayed at a nice hut, had a very nice bbq by the beach, we also went for walks in the woods and spent some time walking around the place looking for yummy things to eat. I have to say I had a great time and my best holidays ever!!

Sadly, we had to come back to reality and to the huge amount of work that uni was saving just for us. :(
This month has been crazy at uni. lots to do and to write... I only wish it ends soon!! and that I can live to enjoy the spoils...

Well, I have no more to tell and now I have to go back to this essay that is driving me craaazy!!
cheers,
Nadia

September 2008 Update

Within September I've got to say that I haven't had much time to hang out and go out with my friends, actually I've had a very busy month at Uni, lots of assignments and tests to be done and sat.

I've gotta say this is the first time I'm experiencing lack of sleep over studies instead of having fun! ;)

But it's all good, life at La Trobe can be so interesting even if you are just studying because you get to share work team experiences lot of hard work in order to keep up with the subjects and teachers expectations. uf!

But is not all studies. I have also have some time with friends, in fact tonight at my residence we hav a goneaway party for one of our residents, her name is Anjana, she's from India. So I guess I'll be atteding the event on account that today is my first day of holidays!!!! so exciting. Oh! I almost forgot, since I'm on holidays now, me and some friends will be going to Great Ocean Road on monday till wednesday, I'm really looking forward to going and seeing beautiful landscapes and having an awesome time.

Last month I went to the zoo and have a lot of fun, I went with another peace scholarship girl from Chile, Carolina. We were able to touch Kangaroos and take pictures of Koalas, it was amazing!

My studies are doing great as well, I've done all my quizzes getting prettygood marks! so I'm relaxed for the moment! ;)

This time I'm attaching some pics. Hope you like them.
